Restaurant Review: Willowgroves Gem

BY: KARI OLFERT, thinkSaskatoon

We’ve all been there…

You’ve heard your stomach growl. You’ve thought; Need Food Now! You’ve wondered; WHERE can we go?

You take your family to the usual restaurant and at least you’re full.

But, as you finish your last bite, you exhale a little sigh of regret. You should have gone somewhere new!

Do you love greasy yummy food with the option of alcohol in your milkshakes? Wait, really?! Omg. Me too! Pink Cadillacs in Willowgrove.

After being encouraged by my bestie and mom, we decided to check out Pink Cadillacs. We arrived at 10:48 a.m., but they didn’t open until 11 a.m. Clearly we had to leave and eat anywhere else, because starving. Just as we were discussing where to go instead, the owner (possibly) popped his head out and said, “we can open now if you’ll stay”. Already loved this place. He sat us, hooked us up with drinks and turned the on t.v. for the kids. Love this place! This super helpful person took our orders and said they were setting up the kitchen and would be back as soon as they could, with our food. As a complete bonus the burgers were delicious, portions large enough to challenge the hungriest of eaters and the wait staff were efficient and friendly.

Booze for you, burgers for the kids. Need I say more? Pink Cadillacs is a super cute restaurant in Saskatoon that rivals with Fudd’s for burger quality. If you’ve been, what did you think?
